Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may result in extra charges being made to fulfil your order.
Please ensure that somebody with sufficient authority is available to accept and sign for your goods at the time of delivery.
Delivery can be refused if there is any visible damage to the packaging.
Mayfield Porcelain will have no liability for any claim for missing items or transport damage where a delivery receipt signature has been given for the supplied goods without a clear indication that the supplied goods could not be inspected or were received incomplete or damaged.
If a situation arises where you consent for delivery to be made without a delivery receipt signature, Mayfield Porcelain will have no liability for any claim for missing items or transport damage to the goods supplied.
Any transport damage or other delivery issues must be reported to Mayfield Porcelain within 24 hours of receipt of goods.
Where requested, the customer must supply photographs of any damage to the supplied goods, including its packaging, within 48 hours.
Our chosen courier will be given the contact number and/or email address that you provide for delivery. If the courier is unable to complete delivery due to the inability to contact you, there will be an additional re-delivery charge.
Pallet deliveries are to kerbside only, unless otherwise agreed.
Pallet(s) will be removed from the delivery vehicle using a tail-lift and pallet forks (not suitable for gravel driveways) and placed in the first convenient, safe location.
Drivers are not obliged to move the pallet any further into your property.
The pallet courier will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery day, at this point you must point out any delivery issues, such as restricted access.
Any actions required to overcome delivery issues may be chargeable to you, particularly if only discovered on the day of delivery.
Pallet courier must allow you sufficient time to open packaging in order to inspect the goods.
All goods must be checked at the time of delivery and signed for.
Collections
You will be contacted by a member of Mayfield Porcelain Ltd, to arrange a mutually convenient collection date and time.
Collection will be from Round Wood, Newick Lane, Mayfield, East Sussex, TN20 6RG.
